Puff Pastry Christmas Tree
This Puff Pastry Christmas Tree will guarantee a jolly good time. 🌲 And you can make it in the blink of an eye, which means plenty of time to drink mulled wine and sing along to Christmas hits. 🎅
Ingredients for 4 servings:
1 pack WildWestLand Melt Me Chili
2 rolled sheets of puff pastry
Half a jar of red pesto
1 tbsp oat milk
Some red currants
Some sprigs of rosemary
👉 Preheat the oven at 200 degrees.
👉 Cut the Melt Me Chili into small pieces.
👉 Roll out one sheet of puff pastry on a baking tray.
👉 Spread red pesto on it and add the Melt Me Chili.
👉 Add the second layer of puff pastry and press gently.
👉 Cut a Christmas tree shape out of te puff pastry. Save the leftovers!
👉 Cut the tree, besides the tip and the ‘tree trunk’ towards the middle. Leave a little room.
👉 Now your tree has branches! Twist them carefully, cheese twister style.
👉 Put some oat milk on the puff pastry.
👉 Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes until your tree starts to get golden brown.
👉 Decorate with red currants and rosemary to make it extra Christmassy.
👉 Take a picture of your masterpiece, because it won’t last long.
You can use the leftover cuttings to make cheese twisters or cheese bites. Also great to make with Garlic & Herb Affair! 😍
